W&W Wins $77,000 Fee Award in Dismissed Copyright Action

***For Immediate Release***

The Firm is proud to announce that the United States District Court for the Central District of California today awarded $77,651.65 in attorneys' fees and costs for prevailing on behalf of our client in a copyright infringement action. The Court found that the Firm's work was reasonable and necessary for its client.  In the words of United States District Judge S. James Otero, "the Court sees no need to reduce the claim made by the Joel Parties" in bringing its victorious motion for attorneys' fees.

"I am proud of this result by our litigators, and of the hard work that led to it," says litigation department chair Jim DeBardelaben.  "I congratulate one of our new litigators, Masai McDougall, who was instrumental in this outcome."
